Judge

There's a girl standing on the sidewalk
she has a smile on her face that could solve world hunger
she seems so carefree and composed
like someone who doesn't have a negative thought on their mind

But deep down she's hurting 
she puts a smile on her face
to mask her feelings
she has been through a lot 
she's been judged a lot
she has loved and lost 
a million things
she puts up an armor of steel- 
a warning to anyone who is  about to ask how she's feeling

Maybe I was too quick to judge
perhaps her bruises shape her character more than I thought
maybe she is just like you and me 
hoping that someone understands how she feels
without criticising her every move.
