Now, you too have the chance to take real action for the planet. In the run-up to COP29, U-Report is rolling out the first chapter of the Climate ActBot. Part of UNICEF’s Green Rising initiative—a movement for youth to mobilize and make the world greener, cleaner, and more sustainable—the ActBot will teach you how to take concrete actions to protect the environment.
Why Should You Join?
Last year, over 770,000 U-Reporters across 58 countries shared their opinions on climate action in a poll, which found that over 3 in 5 young people were concerned that their future will be at risk unless they learn about climate change and how to respond to it. That's where the Climate ActBot comes in. The ActBot is designed to help young people like you build climate campaigns, find solutions to local environmental problems, and inspire change in your communities. Every step you take will be a step towards creating a safer, healthier, and fairer world for children today and tomorrow.
This isn’t just about talking—it’s about doing! You’ll have the chance to share your stories and climate actions with the U-Report community and the world. Whether you start a school project to cut down on waste or organize a beach cleanup, what you do matters. Your efforts will even be highlighted at COP29 and beyond!
How the ActBot Works
The U-Report Climate ActBot will take you on a journey through four powerful modules, rolling out through 2024-2025. The first module guides you with hands-on tips for taking action.
Here’s what you’ll learn:

You’ll also hear from inspiring young climate advocates across five countries. Their stories will motivate you to take the next step and create positive change!
